The lanterns conveyed the essence of fire, while the ancient Sakura Tree imbued the area with the spirit of a wise guardian, guide, and protector of the land. Beyond the gate lay the path to the great Mount Fuji, where the sun goddess, Amaterasu, rises every morning. - Christian B.
